Job Perks Pt. 2

While I recently wrapped up my job as a retoucher/image editor at Christie's Auction House and relocated to Nashville, TN, I wanted to share a couple of the catalogues I worked on in my last few months there. One of my favorite things about working at Christie's (obviously besides witnessing amazing works of art up close on a daily basis) was receiving the final print catalogues of sales I worked on. Each retoucher was generally assigned their own sale, so that usually meant that every image (sometimes hundreds of images) in the catalogues for the sales I worked on (including the cover!) were color corrected and optimized by me. Print catalogues were a pretty cool, tangible item to hold after weeks (sometimes months) of hard work!
